Meet Dr. Tamayo
Dr. Tamayo has been practicing Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2005. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2001 and completed her residency training at White Memorial Medical Center in 2005.
She has been through many personal experiences that help her empathize with her patients (infertility, in vitro fertilization, twin pregnancy, and cesarean section).
Dr. Tamayo specializes in Obstetrics. Her ultimate goal with each patient is to allow labor to progress naturally and to avoid intervention as long as the mother and baby are healthy and safe. She strives to be the patient's advocate for their birth wishes. Dr. Tamayo gives her patients her undivided attention, listens to their concerns and needs, answers all of their questions, provides evidence based education, and gives choices if any intervention is necessary.
She is married to Roland Tamayo, a freelance artist, who raises their twin boys, Bradley and Tyler. Roland designed and decorated Dr. Tamayo’s office and his personal artwork can be seen in the waiting room. Dr. Tamayo enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending gallery shows, going to the movies and concerts, shopping and reading.
